In case you are unaware Rev. Chris Brewer died peacefully in hospital on Saturday 9th  February at 5.25 pm after a short illness. Chris fought a brave fight against leukaemia and our thanks to all who fasted and prayed for her from the diagnosis and after she was given just two weeks to live back in late October/November. We discussed and Chris knew the truth of these words St Paul wrote in Philippians 1  'For to me, living is Christ and dying is gain. If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labour for me; and I do not know which I prefer. I am hard pressed between the two: my desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better; but to remain in the flesh is more necessary for you.' She is in a far better place, in the presence of our good God, but please pray for Pete and her family that they may know the peace of God at this sad time.

The funeral, to which you are all invited, will be held at the Church of St Mary The Virgin, Canterbury Road, Wingham, Kent. CT3 1BB  at 2.30 pm on Monday 25th February. This is to be followed by a private cremation.

Please let the church office know asap and no later by Monday 19th latest, if you plan to attend so Pete can be given an idea of numbers to expect.
