Churches Together in Orpington

St Paul’s Crofton is a member of Churches Together in Orpington working together with other local congregations to reach out to the people of Orpington and beyond.  We may have different ways of understanding our faith and worshipping God but we are all committed to making the Kingdom of God a living reality in our locality.

The next Churches Together meeting is on Thursday 17 October at 7.45pm in All Saints Church, Bark Hart Road, Orpington BR6 0QD

Foodbank Bromley Borough

The Bromley Borough Foodbank doesn’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why they provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis through a voucher scheme. It is part of a nationwide network of Foodbanks supported by the Trussell Trust working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK. If you would like more information, you can speak to Lynn Rowles or https://bromleyborough.foodbank.org.uk/

Street Pastors

The Orpington team currently patrols every Friday evening between 9pm and midnight. We have built good working relationships the local pubs and restaurants and are well received by the people we meet. This is built from many local churches and is supported by Churches Together in Orpington. They patrol as a team of 4 on a once a month rota and have good prayer support while they’re out. If you think God may be calling you to join the team or pray for them, you can get more information on https://streetpastors.org/locations/orpington/
