Job Title - Youth & Families Worker

Hours - full time - 38 hours

Salary - £26,500 - £31,500 (depending on experience and qualifications)

The Role -  We are looking for an experienced full time Youth and Families Worker (Lay or Ordained).

Do you believe that there is no 'Junior Holy Spirit'?  Is this the pasture the Good Shepherd is now calling you to serve in?  Has He been telling you 'now is the time to move?'

This job entails: developing St Paul's work with young people (aged from 10 to 18) and their families, to nurture and disciple faith with young people, and their families, recruiting, train, manage and motivate volunteer team, to outreach into the community.  A flexible approach to working is needed, including evenings and weekends as required.

This role is subject to completing the Church of England Safer Recruitment process, including references, an enhanced DBS, and Diocesan PTO (if required).  It is considered that this post requires an Occupation Requirement (OR) for the postholder to be a communicant member of the Church of England or of a member church of the Evangelical Alliance.  (Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.)
A core part of this role is connecting with our community, therefore it would be beneficial for the candidate to live locally or within a close commute to enable them to carry out the role effectively. Housing allowance/accommodation may be available.
