A WARM WELCOME TO ST PAUL'S

We are a charismatic evangelical church in the Church of England in the Diocese of Rochester - where we believe the primary reason for our gathering together is to meet with the Living God.  We want every person to know their full identity as a child of God and to receive their inheritance, the gifts and giftings of the Holy Spirit so they are enabled to live and walk by the Spirit. We yearn for revival, desiring a continuous move of God in this place and our lives which transforms us into His kingdom builders. So, we give space and place for the Lord to do what He desires through an encounter with Jesus by His Holy Spirit, making space for corporate/individual encounter, offering prayer ministry, encouraging people to pray, and be prayed for, and not least, offering house groups and other opportunities for fellowship, genuine community, and accountability, as well as courses like Alpha or Freedom in Christ.

So, while we can and do encounter Jesus when we’re alone – in your daily times of intimacy with Him - you’re more likely to encounter Jesus when surrounded by His people pursuing His presence with passion and adoration. Are you hungry for more of Him, desperate for His presence to be made manifest in and through you? If so, we welcome you to join us! In meeting with the Living God, in your encounter with Jesus, He will renew you for the week ahead because the true significance of what happens in church is what happens once we’re beyond the doors

We don’t subscribe to a junior Holy Spirit so we make every effort to encourage our children, young people and their parents or carers to receive and use the gifts and giftings of the Holy Spirit in their daily lives as everyone is called to partake of the work of the Kingdom.

Seek His presence with all at our disposal – making our priorities prayer, worship, and being filled with His Spirit

Embracing His will for our lives – trusting in the Bible as God’s inspired word.

Reaching His world in love – serving our community in love.

Valuing His Creation from His perspective – valuing the creation and enhancing its preservation

Enabling His children to come to Him - inviting our community to encounter and receive life and purpose in Jesus.
