Sunday during the 10.15 am service
PUSH and PUSH Plus leave the service after worship in Church. They meet together in the Vestry, before splitting into smaller groups. Here they have ice breaker style games, teaching and discussions as well as time for prayer.
On 3rd Sunday of the month, teenagers will remain in Church for the duration of the service as we celebrate Family Communion.
Sunday Live Youth Service 4.00 pm - 5.30 pm
On 3rd Sunday of the month, in the afternoon, we meet together in the VCR (Church Room) for Sunday Live Youth Service. Together we play ice breaker style games, have worship, a short talk and reflection time.
Contact Helen for details of the next Sunday Live.
Friday Club Night 6.30 pm - 8.00 pm / 9.00 pm
Club Night is for our church teenagers and their friends to come and relax and have fun together after a hard week at school. Regular activities include table tennis, pool & snooker, and Nintendo Switch. We also have a sofa where they can sit, chat and play games at the tables. Refreshments are served throughout the evening, and we finish most Club Nights over in the hall with a big team game.
From time to time we have extra activities such as trips to the beach, Ten Pin Bowling and ice skating.
Club Night starts at 6.30 pm for all! Those in PUSH (Year 7-9) finish at 8.00 pm, whilst those in PUSH Plus (Year 10-13) continue until 9.00 pm.
Weekends Away
During the year we have the opportunity to take our groups away for a weekend of activities along with some Bible-based teaching, the amount and content of which depends on the teenagers we are taking. In previous years, PUSH had the opportunity to go to the Frontier Centre in Northamptonshire where activities included fencing and raft building. PUSH Plus had a weekend in the Ashdown Forest at West Watch.
In the summer, PUSH attended Luminosity at New Wine United 2023, where we spent the week camping alongside other members from St Paul's.
